Presentation of the epratcice.eu portal: a European Commission initiative, managed jointly by the Information Society and Media Directorate-General and the Informatics Directorate-General (IDABC Programme).
epractice.eu is a good practice service for eGovernment, eHealth and eInclusion, set up to help all actors meet, share and learn from real-life experience - pan-European and worldwide.
The portal features information on case studies, news items, events, publications, blogs. Information and stories are posted on the portal by its network of members and the epractice editorial board, and is addressed to professionals in the public administration and industry, academia in the epractice domains, and/or people with interests in the various e-topics featured.
Particular focus of the presentation will be on how epratcice.eu can become an important tool for the OSS community: a platform to share good practice, meet peers, and learn from one another in a target community of 50,000 practitioners.
