In community programming, anyone could contribute source code which might infringe copyright or patents belonging to third parties. In this context, the presentation attempts an overview of different methods to minimize this legal risk, by categorizing the different organizational structures involved in the development of FLOSS, and by highlighting the methods used by such organizations.
