Speaker: Nikos Manouselis
 
Short Bio:

Nikos Manouselis holds a diploma in Electronics & Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Crete, Greece (2000), a MSc in Operational Research (2002), as well as, a MSc in Electronics & Computer Engineering (2003), both from the Technical University of Crete (TUC), Greece. Currently, he is completing a PhD on applications of metadata for social information retrieval of agricultural resources, at the Informatics Laboratory of the Agricultural University of Athens, Greece. Mr. Manouselis is actively involved in the coordination of the Organic.Edunet initiative, as a member of the GRNET team. He is also an active contributor to the Agricultural Information Management Standards and Agricultural Ontology Services initiatives of the Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations.
